Yahoo!地図の雨雲レーダーで、8月より気象庁が提供を開始した「高解像度降水ナウキャスト」に対応したそうです。Web(PC)版およびiOS/Androidアプリ版「Yahoo!地図」アプリから利用可能できます。

これにより、雨雲レーダーで表示される「降水域」が、従来の16倍の高精細になって、強い雨をより詳しい範囲で表示・予測可能に。

★雨の降っている範囲が、さらに詳しく
従来の「降水ナウキャスト」では1km四方だった降水域が、「高解像度降水ナウキャスト」では30分先まで250m四方で細かくなりました。
【時間による降水域の推移】
・過去60分～現在～30分先までは、高解像度の250m四方で表示されます。
・35分～60分先までは、従来どおりの1㎞四方で表示されます。
【降水量 色分け】
気象庁の表現は8段階ですが、Yahoo!地図は14段階で表現されます。

★地図系アプリでは、いち早く対応
高解像度降水ナウキャストは、今年8月に気象庁から公開されたばかりのデータで、気象庁のHPから閲覧することはできますが、気象系アプリの中でも対応できているアプリは数えるほどしかなく、地図系アプリで見られるのはYahoo!地図だけです。
