スペースシャトルをiPhone/iPadでリアルに操縦体験できるフライトシミュレータアプリ「F-SIM Space Shuttle」（85円）が 2.0 にアップデートされました。

今回メジャーアップデートとなる 2.0 では、パイロット視点に加えて5種類の外部視点 (External View) から選んでプレイできます。画面をタップすると上部にメニューが表示されます。

レンダリングエンジンが全面的に書き直されており、よりリアルな描画やパフォーマンス改善が行われています。

スペースシャトル・オービタ「アトランティス」3Dモデルは、Desktopsimmer により作成とのこと。
※本物の「アトランティス」(STS-135) は、日本時間7月21日18時58分に米ケネディ宇宙センター (KSC) へ帰還予定。

タッチダウンした後、自分が操作したランディングの模様を、様々な視点からリプレイ表示も行えます。また、従来のチルト操作のほか、画面上に表示される仮想アナログスティックによる操作も可能に。

■What’s new 2.0

• External views: Besides the pilot’s point of view, you can now choose from 5 different external views. The gorgeous 3D model of Atlantis has been created for F-SIM Space Shuttle by George “Desktopsimmer” Winnard. Even minute details like the drag-brace-assemblies or torque-arms are fully animated


• Replays: After touchdown, you can watch your landing (from the pilot’s point of view or any of the new external cameras)


• A completely rewritten rendering engine for even higher performance and some amazing effects—it now renders the atmosphere, stars, the sun and the moon, dynamic shadows, particle smoke and much more

• New virtual analog-stick controls (optional, you can of course still use the tilt controls)


• Countless small improvements and some minor bug fixes


■With F-SIM Space Shuttle you can:

• Land at both shuttle landing facilities (John F. Kennedy Space Center and Edwards Air Force Base)
• Fly final or full approaches and freely select one of the four possible heading-alignment-cones (HAC) and the HAC turn angle
• Configure wind and turbulence for authentic flight conditions
• Fly night and overcast approaches and configure visibility
• Simulate system failures (a stuck speedbrake, HUD/guidance failures, etc.)
• Manually control the Orbiters’s rudder, speedbrake, gear and chute or let the autopilot control these things and focus on flying.

金魚すくいを楽しめるiPhone/iPad向けゲーム「桜金魚すくい」（230円）が 3.0.0 にアップデートされました。

時間制限はなくまったりと金魚すくいを楽しめる「ノーマル」モードや制限時間内での数を競う「大会」モードに加えて、3.0.0 では、素早くお椀に金魚を入れていくとコンボ数、スコアが加算される「スコアアタック」モードが追加されています。

あいかわらずリアルなグラフィックやエフェクトが美しく、アップデートにより水面表現がより滑らかになるなどクオリティ向上も。

黒ネコがボールを転がして、もう一方の白ネコがキャッチできるよう、矢印などのアイテムを上手に配置して解くiPhoneゲームアプリ「Cat Physics」（115円）が 1.2 にアップデートされました。

今回のメジャーアップデートで、10レベル追加されたほか、iPhone/iPad両方で利用できるユニバーサル対応やRetinaディスプレイ、Game Centerがサポートされています。
