ネットスター株式会社とヤフー株式会社は12月15日、システム管理者が指定するウェブサイトへのアクセス制限機能を備えたiPad/iPhone用法人向けブラウザ「NetSTAR ビジネスブラウザ powered by Yahoo! JAPAN」(ビジネスブラウザ) を共同開発し、ネットスターが販売元となってiPad対応版を本年12月15日に、iPhone対応版を2011年1月中に、それぞれ発売することを発表しました。

既にヤフー自身でも個人/家庭向けのフィルタリングアプリ「Yahoo!あんしんねっと」「Yahoo!あんしんねっとHD」を提供していますが、今回のサービス(アプリ含む)は法人向けでちょっと異なります。

「ビジネスブラウザ」は、クラウドサービスプラットフォームと各iOSデバイスにインストールするフィルタリングアプリ※から構成され、企業システム管理者によるアクセス制限方針の一括管理や、アクセス傾向の把握が可能。

トレンドマイクロ株式会社は12月14日、容量無制限の個人ユーザー向けオンラインストレージサービス 「トレンドマイクロ オンラインストレージ SafeSync」をトレンドマイクロオンラインショップで販売開始しました。料金は4,980円/年。

SafeSyncでは、ストレージのデータ容量や1ファイルあたりの容量に制限無く、パソコン内の指定フォルダーとリアルタイム同期を行って、気にせずにデータをオンラインバックアップできます。複数パソコンから保存データを閲覧/編集したり、任意のデータ (フォルダー/ファイル) に共有用URLを発行して家族や友達と共有も行えます。

利用は、Webコンソール (パソコンやモバイルデバイスによるブラウザーアクセス)、または専用クライアントによるアクセスの2種類。
※モバイルデバイスでのファイルアクセス (Webコンソール) については一部制限あるので注意。

アップルは11月22日、iPhone/iPod touch/iPadで利用できる最新 iOS 4.2 (4.2.1) をリリースしました。iPadでは登場以来初のメジャーアップデートとなります。

iPhone/iPod touchの iOS 4 で実現しているマルチタスキングやフォルダー機能、メールの統合インボックス、Game CenterなどがiPadでも共通で利用できるようになったほか、新たにワイヤレスプリント機能「AirPrint」、Wi-Fi経由で動画／音楽／画像ストリーミングを行なえる「AirPlay」など100以上の新機能を搭載しています。

現行 4.1/3.2 ユーザーは「iOS 4.2 ソフトウェアアップデート」で最新OSへ更新できます。要 iTunes 10.1 以降。

iOS 4.2 はiPad、iPhone 3G、iPhone 3GS、iPhone 4、第2・第3世代（32GBまたは64GBの2009年後半モデル）および最新のiPod touchに対応しています。機能の中にはすべての製品では利用できないものもあります。例えば、マルチタスクの利用にはiPhone 3GS、iPhone 4または第三世代（32GBまたは64GBの2009年後半モデル）以降のiPod touchが必要です。新機能関係では、AirPrint や AirPlay もiPhone 3Gなど旧世代機種には対応していませんので注意。

iPhone 3G でも体感的に動作も軽くなった＆落ちやすいアプリが減ったかなと(*'-')。新機能は無理ですが、これだけでも十分ありがたいです。

※iOS 4.2.1 は、当初リリース予定の iOS 4.2 でiPad関係の不具合が見つかり、修正を行ったものです。そのため、バージョン番号としての「iOS 4.2」(4.2.0相当) は一般には存在しません。「iOS 4.2」表記は、iOS 4.2.1 またはそれ以降と読み替えるとよいです。

このアップデートでは、以下の機能などが向上しています：

• AirPrint
  • ローカルワイヤレスネットワークにある AirPrint 対応プリンタで、メール、写真や Web ページなどをデバイスから直接プリントできます

米Adobe Systemsは11月4日、Security Bulletins (APSB10-26)にて、Windows/Mac/Linux/Solaris版Adobe Flash Player 10.1.85.3またはそれ以前のバージョン、およびAdobe Flash Player 10.1.95.1 for Android に複数のセキュリティ脆弱性が存在することを公表しました。 10月28日公表のSecurity Advisory APSA10-05も含まれるのかな。

脆弱性に対処した最新版 10.1.102.64 をAdobe Flash Player Download Center で公開しています。全員アップデート推奨。
Android版は11月9日 (日本時間10日過ぎ?) 、Adobe Acrobat/Reader は11月15日の週に修正版が公開される予定とのこと。

なお、10.1.102.64 をインストール出来ない旧OS環境向けに、Flash Player 9にパッチを当てた Flash Player 9.0.289.0 も用意されています。

広告表示やアクセス管理用など、様々なWebサイト閲覧で使用されているCookieファイルを削除したり管理を行えるSIMBL機能拡張です。お気に入り (Favorite) 登録サイトやブックマークサイトなど、指定条件以外のCookieやGoogle Analytics用CookieをSafari終了時に自動クリーニングすることも可能。

※Safari CookiesはSIMBLのインストールが必要です。

今回のアップデートでローカルストレージ (DB) 管理も行えるようになっています。

2010年9月29日夕方の福島地震直前、あの特徴のあるTV放送版緊急地震速報とともに、東北・関東広域エリアでは携帯電話があちこちで一斉に鳴り響き、びっくりした方も多かったと思います。

地震速報を初めて受け取ったユーザーも多かったそうで、実際Twitter上でも、鳴った (ﾟ∀ﾟ) / 鳴らなかった(´・ω・｀) でえらい騒ぎでしたね。

今年12月1日には緊急地震速報の訓練が実施されるそうですので、ぜひご参加を。

さて、ここでおさらい。

緊急地震速報について

2007年の改正気象業務法施行により、気象庁だけで行っていた地震・火山現象の予報業務が民間気象情報会社などでも行えるようになったことで、じわじわと市場拡大。

　→気象業務法の一部を改正する法律の施行（平成19年12月1日）に伴い、緊急地震速報を地震動の予報及び警報に位置づけることについて

2010年9月末現在、個人向けサービスとしては、NTT東日本/西日本フレッツ契約者用サービス「緊急地震速報 フレッツタイプ」(NTTコム) や、ウェザーニューズ社の個人向け緊急地震速報「The Last 10-Second (Windows PCのみ)」などが提供されています。

携帯電話での緊急地震速報

ただし、対応機種であっても初期販売機種では何らかの受信設定操作が必要になっていたものがあり、29日の地震で調べてみたら対応していることに気づいた方が多かったかもしれません。

　例: NTTドコモ 905i〜906iシリーズあたりの時期。

今回ここまで騒ぎになったのは、携帯電話の買い替えが一巡して標準で通知するようになっている携帯電話の比率が初期に比べて格段に高くなったことや、通知エリアが東北だけでなく人口の多い首都圏など広範囲におよんだことが考えられます。

iPhoneのソフトバンクモバイルはもちろん、Androidなどのスマートフォンデバイスを扱っている各携帯電話キャリアは、自社携帯電話同様の基本サービスとして「緊急地震速報サービス」への対応を進めていただきたいなと願っています。

現状でも個人等によるアプリ化はできないことはないと思いますが、プッシュ通知でリアルタイム＆確実通知が保証されているわけではなく、遅れてプッシュ通知が届いたり通知自体来なかったりと信頼性にかけます。The Last 10-Secondのスマートフォン向けサービスがあればいいんですけどね。

米Adobe Systemsは、深刻な脆弱性に対処した Adobe Flash Player 10.1.85.3 を約1週間前倒し公開しました。

あわわせて、セキュリティアドバイザリーを公表。

今回の脆弱性は、Adobe Flash Player 10.1.82.76まで（Windows / Mac / Linux / Solaris）とAndroid向けAdobe Flash Player 10.1.92.10に存在。Adobe Flash Player だけでなくAdobe Reader / Acrobat 9.3.4までのバージョンも影響をうけます。

この脆弱性が悪用されると、クラッシュを誘発され、攻撃者にシステムを制御されてしまう可能性があり、既にWindows版Adobe Flash Playerをターゲットにした攻撃も報告されているそうです。

Adobe Flash Player 10.1.82.76 (Androidは10.1.92.10) 以前をインストールしている場合、最新 10.1.85.3 (Androidは10.1.95.1) にすることを推奨。

Adobe ReaderやAdobe Acrobatに関しては、10月4日の週にセキュリティアップデート配信が予定されています。

SUMMARY: A critical vulnerability exists in Adobe Flash Player 10.1.82.76 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Solaris, and Adobe Flash Player 10.1.92.10 for Android. This vulnerability also affects Adobe Reader 9.3.4 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh and UNIX, and Adobe Acrobat 9.3.4 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh. This vulnerability (CVE-2010-2884) could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. There are reports that this vulnerability is being actively exploited in the wild against Adobe Flash Player on Windows. Adobe is not aware of any attacks exploiting this vulnerability against Adobe Reader or Acrobat to date.

Adobe recommends users of Adobe Flash Player 10.1.82.76 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Solaris update to Adobe Flash Player 10.1.85.3, and users of Adobe Flash Player 10.1.92.10 for Android update to Adobe Flash Player 10.1.95.1.

ただ、リリースを前後して台風が熱帯低気圧に変わってしまいましたので、現在のところ台風Ch.で確認できません(´・ω・｀)。もっとも、台風じゃなくなったからといって威力０になったわけではありませんので、引き続き警戒が必要ですし、豪雨地域の今後の土砂崩れ等災害多発にもご注意を。

Adobe Systemsが今月初旬発表した、Adobe Reader/Adobe Acrobatに発見された脆弱性を修正するためのセキュリティアップデート版 9.3.4 をそれぞれ公開しました。旧8.x系統についても同様のアップデートがあるようですがここでは省略。

Windows/Mac/Linux全プラットフォーム対象。
セキュリティ脆弱性のあるAdobe Reader/Acrobat 9.3.3以前のバージョンをインストールしている方は、最新バージョンへアップデートするよう推奨しています。

SUMMARY

Critical vulnerabilities have been identified in Adobe Reader 9.3.3 (and earlier versions) for Windows, Macintosh and UNIX, Adobe Acrobat 9.3.3 (and earlier versions) for Windows and Macintosh, and Adobe Reader 8.2.3 (and earlier versions) and Adobe Acrobat 8.2.3 (and earlier versions) for Windows and Macintosh. These vulnerabilities could cause the application to crash and could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.

These updates address CVE-2010-2862, which was discussed at the Black Hat USA 2010 security conference on Wednesday, July 28, 2010. They also incorporate the Adobe Flash Player update as noted in Security Bulletin APSB10-16.

Adobe recommends users of Adobe Reader 9.3.3 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh and UNIX update to Adobe Reader 9.3.4. (For Adobe Reader users on Windows and Macintosh, who cannot update to Adobe Reader 9.3.4, Adobe has provided the Adobe Reader 8.2.4 update.) Adobe recommends users of Adobe Acrobat 9.3.3 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh update to Adobe Acrobat 9.3.4. Adobe recommends users of Adobe Acrobat 8.2.3 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh update to Adobe Acrobat 8.2.4.

Note that today's updates mentioned in this bulletin represent an out-of-cycle release. The next quarterly security updates for Adobe Reader and Acrobat is scheduled for October 12, 2010.

ソフトウェアのシリアル番号や、Webサービスへのログイン情報(アカウント/パスワード)など個人情報を管理できる「1Password」のiOSデバイス(iPhone/iPod touch/iPad)向けアプリ「1Password Pro」（1,700円）が 3.5.2 にアップデートされました。

同日、iPhone/iPod touch向け「1Password for iPhone」（1,200円）やiPad向け「1Password for iPad」（1,200円）も 3.5.2 にアップデートされ、バージョン番号がPro版に追いつきました。こちらもDropbox同期対応に。これでiOSアプリは全部Dropbox同期できますね。

1Password Proは、iPhone/iPad両方で利用できるユニバーサルバイナリー形式のアプリです。専用で価格は安いけれど機能が少ないiPhone/iPod touchアプリやiPadアプリもありますが、更新頻度からみてもPro一択かと思います。

1Passwordでは様々なOS環境向けのものも開発されていて、Mac版「1Password for Mac」最新版ならWi-Fi/Dropbox経由で同期できます。

最近では、Windows版やAndroidアプリもベータ提供されるように。Agileサイトのブログコメントによると、Androidアプリは最近のアップデートにてDropbox同期が可能になった模様。

個人情報（シェアウェアのシリアルナンバーやパスワードなど）管理アプリ「1Password」（$39.95〜）Mac版が 3.3.0 にアップデートされました。

iOS(iPhone/iPod touch/iPad)版1Password ProでDropbox経由同期が可能になったのにあわせ、Mac版1Passwordでも対応。Mac版1Password設定画面でパスワードファイル自動保存場所をDropbox上に切り替え、その後iOS版1Password Proで同期方法をDropboxに。

パスワードキーチェーンファイルの保存指定は、Preferences→General→Data Fileで「Move」ボタンをクリックし、Dropboxを指定。

Flash Playerなどで、クラッシュしたり他人にシステムを乗っ取られるセキュリティ脆弱性が新たに見つかったということで、Adobe Systemsがセキュリティアドバイザリーを公表しました。

今回の脆弱性は、Flash Player最新版（10.0.45.2, 9.0.262）およびそれ以前（10.0.x, 9.0.x）、Adobe Reader/Acrobat最新版（9.3.2）およびそれ以前（9.x）で、すべてのプラッフォームが対象に。Acrobat 8.xは影響しないそうです。

最新版へのアップデートをと言おうにも、正式版は全滅状態ですか('A`)。

Flash Playerは、開発中の次期Adobe Flash Player 10.1RC版へのアップデートを、Acrobat Reader/Acrobatは、authplay.dllというファイルをリネーム/削除して回避（これはこれで不具合が発生するという副作用が）、という暫定策が案内されています。

• 災害に関し誤った情報が広まるなど、特に必要があると思われる場合には、正確な情報を消防庁が発信。

サイバートラスト株式会社は、デバイス認証用証明書発行管理サービス「サイバートラスト デバイスID」にて、Android搭載端末の端末認証（Android OTA）対応、およびiPhone OTAの機能大幅強化を発表しました。

iPhone OTAは、端末固有の情報を確認した上で対象となるiPhone内で安全に鍵を生成し、証明書をインストールしますが、端末を確認する情報として、従来の「ICCID」に加えて、端末識別番号である「IMEI」を用いた端末の確認が可能となり、より強固な端末の特定を実現。

iPhone OTAでインストールされたデバイス証明書により、iPhoneからのVPNや無線LAN利用時に、確実な端末認証を行った上でネットワークに接続させることが可能に。

さらに、iPhone OTAでは、デバイス証明書のインストールと同時に、iPhoneのパスコードポリシ設定やVPN設定などを制御する構成プロファイルも同時にインストールできますが、今回の機能拡張により、従来1企業に対して構成プロファイルの適用は1つのみだった機能が、組織毎、グループ毎、サービス毎、あるいは個々のiPhone毎に構成プロファイルを適用することが可能となり、より柔軟なiPhoneの構成設定を実現しているとのことです。

BIGLOBEは、BIGLOBE会員対象のMac OS X向けウイルス対策サービス「BIGLOBE Protection for Mac」を発表し、サービス提供を開始しました。

ウイルス検索エンジンはエフセキュア社のものが使われるとのことで、おそらく「F-Secure Mac Protection Technology Preview」に相当するものではないかと。
エフセキュア社によると、Mac向けでは国内ISP初導入のようです。

The Official Gmail Blogによると、Gmailへの不正アクセスが疑われる場合に警告表示される機能が追加されたそうです。

画面一番下にあるので存在に気づかない方も多いかもしれませんが、2008年頃からGoogleでは個々のアカウントアクセス状況「アカウント アクティビティ」を自動的に記録して履歴を閲覧できるようになっています。目立たないこともありチェックする人が少ないことから、今回セキュリティ新機能を追加したとのこと。

普段のアクセスパターンとは異なる場所からのアクセスなど、不正と疑われるアクセスが有った場合、こちらに「Warning: We believe your account was last accessed from...」（あなたのアカウントは次の場所からアクセスされたことを警告する）というメッセージになる模様。

詳細画面では、アクセスタイプ/ロケーション(IPアドレス)/日時の記録を確認できるとともに、ワンボタンで他のセッションを強制的にログアウトさせることもできます。また、パスワード変更も可能。

緊急ではない時でも、外出先等でログインしてメールチェックなどを行い、ログアウトし忘れていないか不安な場合には特にありがたいですね。

中国からのGoogle検索サービス撤退に続いてセキュリティ新機能追加のニュース、どうもこれを連想してしまいます(´・ω・｀)。

アップルが、「Safari 4.0.5」をリリースしました。ソフトウェア・アップデートから更新可能です。

ソフトバンクBBは、紛失・盗難など緊急時にiPhone 3GS/3G端末内データを遠隔消去できる「リモートワイプサービス」を開始しました。

　1ライセンス: 315円/月。

「リモートワイプサービス」は、iPhoneの紛失や盗難時における企業のセキュリティ対策として、法人向けSaaS/ASPサービス「TEKI-PAKI」で提供され、契約iPhone端末にもしものことがあり中身を消したい場合に、管理者がパソコンの専用画面（要Flash Player）から操作すると、指定iPhone端末のデータが遠隔消去（初期化）されるとともに回線サービスも停止されます。

外出時などパソコン環境がない場合も、専用電話番号へ電話して音声案内でのリモートワイプ操作を行えます。

なお、このサービスでは、iPhoneの「Microsoft Exchange」メール連携機能を利用するため、各iPhone端末側で「Microsoft Exchange」メール設定を行う必要があるとのこと。

リモートワイプ

• iPhoneのメール機能(MS Exchange)端末同期機能を用い、遠隔操作で初期化(出荷時状態)を行います。
• iPhoneのメール機能(MS Exchange)端末同期ができないと当サービスはご利用いただけません。
• 電波状況や同期タイミングを考慮し、最大99時間まで監視時間の設定が可能です。
• 「フェッチ手動」設定の場合は当サービスはご利用いただけません。必ずプッシュまたはフェッチ時間設定(より短い時間を推奨)してください。
• iPhoneのメール機能(MS Exchange)端末同期を使用しますので、MS Exchangeメールを同一端末で使用することはで きません。

回線サービス停止

• 一時的に回線サービスを停止し、iPhoneからの通話、通信ができなくなります。(解約ではありません)
• リモートワイプ開始を確認してから回線サービス停止を行います。

みずほ情報総研株式会社は、株式会社アドバンスト・メディアとiPhone 3GS向け営業支援システム対応のセキュアな「音声認証」機能を開発し、AIGエジソン生命保険株式会社に提供・導入することを発表しました。2010年6月本稼動を予定。

AIGエジソン生命では、2009年8月から営業支援ツールとしてiPhone 3GSを採用しており、新たに「音声認証」機能導入を決定。誤認率を0.00000003%以下に抑え、スムーズかつ厳格に本人認証が実現しています。

また、アドバンスト・メディアの「AmiVoice音声認識エンジン」に、みずほ情報総研が保険業向け業務で培ったノウハウを元にした「汎用音声認識保険言語モデル」を組み合わせた音声認識機能も導入。これにより業務用語の誤認識を削減し、メール作成や顧客データ検索などを迅速に行えるようになります。

プレスリリースによると、他の金融機関向けにも同システム導入の推進を図るとのことで、応用して一般銀行利用ユーザー向けにもセキュア認証対応のiPhoneアプリ/Webサービスを作ってほしいですね(*'-')。

Adobe Systemsはセキュリティアップデートを発表し、「Flash Player」が 10.0.45.2 に、「Adobe AIR」が 1.5.3.9130 にアップデートされました。

全プラットフォーム対象。
Flash Player 10.0.42.34以前、またはAdobe AIR1.5.3.1920 以前をインストールしている方は、最新バージョンへアップデートするよう推奨しています。

SUMMARY

A critical vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.42.34 and earlier. This vulnerability (CVE-2010-0186) could subvert the domain sandbox and make unauthorized cross-domain requests.

なお、Adobe Reader/Acrobatについても、Flash Playerの問題を含む脆弱性があるということで、2月16日(米国時間)にセキュリティアップデートが行われる予定とのことです。

GPS機能によって最寄りのAED設置場所を検索＆AR表示するiPhoneアプリ「AEDマップ」（無料）がリリースされていますので紹介。

半径10km以内にある（登録されている）施設一覧と現在位置からの距離が表示され、
知りたい施設をタップするとその詳細情報と周辺地図を閲覧できます。
AR Viewボタンのタップで施設情報がiPhoneカメラ映像にオーバーレイ表示されます。
なお、iPhone 3GS想定で開発されており、iPhone 3G/2Gでは起動時にAR機能を利用できない旨のメッセージが表示されます。

サポートサイトによると、2010/01/28現在、登録施設が100件に満たない状況ですが、逐次情報登録を増やしていく予定とのことです。

個人ベースでは登録やメンテナンスがかなり手間も時間もかかりすぎますので、専用サイト上からみんなで情報登録できるような方式（例: ユニバーサルデザイントイレマップ）にするか、(財)救急医療財団やNPO法人AED普及協会 など関係する組織から正式にまとまった情報を受ける体制にした方がよいかもしれません。

民間では、翔亜プロビジネスが携帯向けに「ハートレスキュー24」を提供していますが、こちらも独自に情報をとりまとめ+情報募集方式のようですね。

このほか、AED検索アプリではAED Nearby（無料）がありますが、こちらは米国内メインでなぜか日本の京都市近辺のAED設置情報が含まれています。

【Update2】AdobeのTecNoteに不具合情報とその解決方法が掲載されました。
問題発生条件も、Mac版Adobe Reader 8またはAcrobat Pro 8に8.2アップデータを適用した場合に変わりました。9.3アップデータは対象外になったということで安心。

AdobeのSecurity bulletinによると、以下環境で見つかった7件の脆弱性に対処。
Windows/Mac/Linux全プラットフォームが対象。

9月2日発売開始したウイルスバスター2010（Windows/Mac対応）ですが、現状ではSnow Leopardに対応していません。

先日のiPhone OS 3.1アップデートにより、内蔵Safariにはフィッシング詐欺サイトアクセス時に警告が表示される機能が追加されていますが、マイコミジャーナル経由The Loop記事によると、こちらは試験機能でまだ一般へは公開できるものではないということで、ちょっと不便で中途半端な扱いになっています。

問題は、予期せぬデータサービス利用料金やバッテリーの消費を防ぐために充電中に詐欺サイトデータベースを自動ダウンロードする仕様になっているとのことで、ユーザーの普段の使い方によってはデータベースが長期間更新されないことがあるそうです。

ただし、以下の手順を踏むことで半手動でデータベースを更新できる模様。

1. Safariを起動
2. Wi-Fi接続
3. スクリーンオフ状態でiPhone/iPod touch充電

おそらく将来このデータベース更新条件などが変更されて、ユーザーの手を煩わさない方向へ行くものと思いますが、とりあえず機能を活用したい方はどうぞ('∇')。

Google Japanは9月16日、"地震"、"地震速報"、"地震情報"などのキーワードでGoogle検索すると、最新の日本国内地震情報が検索結果のトップに表示されるようになったと発表しました。 表示対象は、過去6時間以内に発生した地震、および最大震度が2以上の地震についてのみ。

これは、地震発生直後に地震に関する検索が跳ね上がることがログ解析でわかったためです。

先ほど地震があったようなのでご紹介。

総合気象情報サービスのウェザーニュースでは、ウェザーニュース会員（315円/月）対象に個人向け緊急地震速報サービス「The Last 10-Second」を提供しています。

このサービスは、地震の発生直後に、震源に近い地震計でとらえた観測データに基づいて各地での地震の揺れの到達時刻や震度を推定し、可能な限り会員のPC（現状WIndows）にすばやく知らせる「個人向け緊急地震速報」です。

■システム要件
　- Windows 2000 / XP /Vista が搭載されたPC
　- インターネット常時接続 (HTTPアクセスが可能なこと)
　- Internet Explorer 6.0 以降
　- Flash Player plugin Version 6 以降 (Internet Explorerにインストールが必要)
　- スピーカー (PC内蔵も可)
　- 60MB以上のHD空き容量

類似サービスとしては、NTT東日本「フレッツ緊急地震速報」（こちらは、専用端末やWindows PCに通知）がありますね。

「The Last 10-Second」もまたWindows PC専用で、Mac OS Xや他OS環境では利用できません(´・ω・｀)。2007年から始まってるサービスなので、開発当時は今のようにAdobe Airとか共通システムがなかったのが大きな理由かもしれませんが、なんとか汎用化してほしいところです。どうみても初期セットアップが面倒に思えるから簡略化もしてもらわないと一般普及しないんでは。

ということで、とりあえずのお手軽対策としてはTwitterの「@P2Pquake」をFollowしておくことで、iPhoneなど端末に関係なくどこからでも地震を知ることができます。ただ、こちらはTwitterの仕組みに頼るため、タイムラグやサーバーダウンなどいろいろ影響受けやすいことをご承知おきを。

地震情報iPhoneアプリでは、プッシュ通知対応「今日の地震+」が便利ですよ(゜ー゜)。

どのキャリアにしてもiPhoneなどスマートフォン系端末は論外でしょうね(´・ω・｀)。

で、緊急地震警報をiPhoneやiPod touch向けアプリでも緊急地震速報対応させることはできないものかと。('〜')
iPhone OS 3.0で「プッシュ」通知機能対応になりますから、できなくもないような気が。

【Update】209.08.11 その後、プッシュ通知対応の地震情報アプリ「今日の地震+ 」や、Twitterアカウント「@earthquake_jp」「@eewbot」「@p2pquake」などによりそこそこの早さで遠くの地震情報を知ることができるようになりましたが、あくまで既存サービスの流用でインフラ安定性や速報度では専用端末＆サービスにはかないませんね。

ウェザーニュース「The Last 10-Second」もいいんですけど、フレッツ同様汎用性に欠けるというデメリットがあるし難しい(´・ω・｀)。

指紋認証リーダー Eikon® Digital Privacy Manager for Mac OS Xの記事を昨年ブログに載せましたが、UPEKのサイトにいってびっくり！

こちらもMacセキュリティで定番の 1Password を組あわせたセキュリティー統合商品「Eikon Protector Suite for Mac」が Comming Soon という発表がありました。

これは楽しみですね。

• The biometry is still active on background even if screensaver is running.
• A non-admin user has access to the Global settings in the administrative application. However, any changes performed by such a user have no effect.
• Some buttons on the login window may be in incorrect state after wake-up from computer sleep. (E.g. they may be displayed disabled when they should be active.)

NTT東日本・西日本は、「フレッツ 光ネクスト」「Bフレッツ」、「フレッツ・光プレミアム」「フレッツ・ADSL」対応の緊急地震速報受信端末「DW-100」の発売（11/21〜、税込9,975円）を発表しました。
NTTコミュニケーションズ株式会社が提供する「緊急地震速報 フレッツタイプ」サービスと組み合わせることで、緊急地震速報を受信すると、音声で推定震度と到達予測時間をお知らせすると共に、ランプが点滅します。
既に販売されている対応端末「フレッツフォンVP1000（NTT西のみ）」「フレッツフォンVP1500」から緊急地震速報部分のみに特化したイメージですね。

緊急地震速報は、地震における初期微動（Ｐ波）と主要動（Ｓ波）の伝播速度の差を利用して、気象庁が地震発生直後に震源に近い地震計でとらえた観測データを解析して震源や地震の規模（マグニチュード）等を直ちに推定し、これに基づいて各地での主要動の到達時間や震度を推定し、可能な限りすばやく通知する仕組みです。

今頃気がつきましたが、先日のSafari 3.2にてEV SSL（Extended Validation SSL）証明書にも対応するようになっていたんですね。
EV SSL対応サイトにアクセスすると、ウインドウのタイトルバー右側にWebサイトを運営する組織の名称が緑色で表示されるようになっています。
