KDDIと沖縄セルラー電話株式会社は2月14日、自宅で高速データ通信が利用できる宅内無線LANサービス「Wi-Fi HOME SPOT」の提供を開始しました。

KDDIのインターネット接続サービス (auひかり、ADSL oneなど) だけでなく主要ブロードバンド回線にWi-Fiアクセスポイント「HOME SPOT CUBE」(プラネックス社製 PXH11RWA) を接続し、auスマートフォンをはじめとしてパソコンやゲーム機などのWi-Fi搭載機器を利用できます。

「Wi-Fi HOME SPOT」「au Wi-Fi SPOT」を便利に使えるiPhoneアプリ「au Wi-Fi接続ツール」(無料) もリリース。

「Wi-Fi HOME SPOT」機器レンタル料金は、525円/月。
※利用月末日に「ISフラット」もしくは「プランF（IS）シンプル/プランF（IS）」利用の場合に月額利用料から420円を割引し、月額利用料は105円に。なお、利用月の途中にau携帯電話の解約等で自動解約となった場合、「ISフラット」もしくは「プランF（IS）シンプル/プランF（IS）」を廃止した場合は、前月をもって割引は終了。
※2012年5月31日までに申し込んだ場合は、利用期間中の月額利用料より105円割引。

The Document Foundationは2月14日、オープンソースのオフィススイート「LibreOffice」3.5 (3.5.0) をリリースしました。

対応OS環境は、Windows / Mac OS X / Linux、それぞれ日本語など各言語対応版をダウンロードできます。

パソコン/iOS/Androidなどマルチ環境対応のパスワード管理アプリ「1Password」のLion向けMac App Store版「1Password」(4,300円) が 3.9.4 にアップデートされました。

3.9.4 アップデートでは、Google ChromeやFirefoxのマルチプロファイルをサポートしています。
ただし、各ブラウザー用エクステンション 3.9 以上 (現状ではベータ版) のインストールが必要です。
