Mac OS X向けのTwitterクライアント「Tweetie for Mac」（$19.95→無料）が 1.2.7 にアップデートされました。
8月16日から8月末にかけて行われるTwitterベーシック認証の段階的廃止対策のため、OAuth認証に対応。
また、Twitter規約の変更により、APIを使ってTL内へ広告表示できなくなることへの対応として、従来無料ユーザーを対象に表示されてたTL内広告（Fusion Ads）が、7月1日から表示されなくなるとのことです。さらに、先行して今回のアップデートからユーザー登録の必要がなくなりました＝無料化。
とりあえず、現段階で未登録状態でもAdvancedメニューで"Show ads"のチェックをはずせる模様。
新機能は、iCatステータス表示オプションぐらいです(´・ω・｀)。
